Framing: Antique-style wood with a wood fillet; originally framed by Gima Artwork (Honolulu) 

Condition: Very good; there is no evidence of craquelure on the surface; an application of Kaymar varnish might be suggested in the future to maintain the coloration and to protect the surface. There appears to be some inpainting.

Subject: This is a depiction of a Hawaiian girl holding a bunch of green bananas.

Provenance: This artwork was obtained by Dolores Martin from a collection of John Meigs in 1970s. Prior to her death in 2002, she indicated she wanted this painting to go to Mahealani Riley. Records indicate that this painting was once exhibited with the Tennent Foundation.
